So much of life is just dismissed as "ordinary" "everday" Yet, magic has been woven through every moment for those who "Notice"!

Notice is a song of invitation, inviting us to pause and notice the clues of the  true magical reality often missed that  lives beneath the everyday moments.

NOTICE:

I was doing prep cooking for our restaurant, the Monday Tuesday Grill, while sipping Peach Iced Tea!  Caught up in the refreshing taste, I said.  " I'm pretty sure the official beverage of heaven is peach Iced tea!"  Peach Tea and Heaven is a celebration of the small, ordinary joys of life that may seem simple and not all that important, but underneath it all, they connect to the "heaven" of the oneness of life.  Enjoy, and you might just have to grab a glass of peach iced tea while you listen!

Peach Tea and Heaven

 For those of us who are deeply moved by the beauty of our world, the sunrise over the mountains, the song of the river, wildflowers blooming in solitude, human tragedy can make it difficult for us to put the pieces together.

Recently, our area has made national news with the trial for Melina, the little nine-year-old girl from Canada, whose father apparently took her life. Scenarios like this are examples where the contradiction of beauty becomes prominent, and the ache of “why” can break our hearts.

Written in the shadow of the heartbreaking death of nine-year-old Melina Frattolin, this song wrestles with one of life’s hardest questions: How can unspeakable darkness and breathtaking beauty exist beneath the same sky? It does not excuse the darkness or pretend to understand it. It simply refuses to give darkness the final word about the human heart. Because even brokenness remembers the outline of eternity. And Love remains 

The Final Word (For Melina)

 It was a Tuesday morning.  The night before was a good night at our restaurant, The Monday Tuesday Grill.  This meant we needed more food for tonight.  So, my wife Amy and I left early for Lake Placid to pick up supplies.  We stopped at our favorite coffee shop, Capisce Coffee.  Amy, needing to process reservations for our inns, left me sitting quietly eating my quiche and sipping my steaming coffee.  In that quiet moment, the Deep Magic did its thing, and I "noticed" the life beneath the ordinary!
